World Cup Fever
I have been following the World Cup diligently this time.
It takes priority even over the Wimbledon. Of course, after Roger crashed out, there was not much of a Winbledon to watch. Ok maybe Djokovic could garner my attention but he too crashed out.
Since most of the matches from the semis were at 230am our time, you bet I have not been sleeping well. Alternating between a mocha frappa and short naps, I did manage to catch all if not most of the matches.
I do not support a particular team but I do like England, Germany and Netherlands.
Too bad England crashed out so soon but I was glad at least 2 teams I like went all way.
It was sad that Netherlands didn't win the World Cup but I am sticking with them for the next world cup in 2014. I am also a new fan of Thomas Mueller, he is soooo talented! Looking forward to see him in 4 years too.
Now that World Cup is over, I am kinda lost. What else is there on TV to watch?
Time to switch my royalty back to tennis. US Open wooohooo!
