Night's out
My everyday nitbits
In order to finish my book on Natascha, I stayed up late on both Monday and Tuesday.
Her story was not dramatized and it was presented matter of factly. I am impressed by her strength for survival and how she refused to be labelled a victim even up till today. Good read!
Back to how I got my book. On Sunday, I went to Kinokuniya and could not find the book. So I went to the Information counter to seek help. There were already a couple of people at the counter so I lingered behind. A staff then indicated to me to move forward and asked how can she help. Told her I was looking for a booked titled "3096" (could not recall full name) about a girl called Natascha. She then went on to type on her computer and I clarified that the title should in be numbers. Whilst she was still searching, the caucasian guy that was already at the counter before me picked up a book from the counter and asked, "Are you looking for this?"
How duh! This book has a special place at the counter for sale and the staff didn't even know. I have an excuse for not knowing as the guy blocked my view *hurhur*

I have an old friend from icq that tends to disappear.
I have been yearning to visit US for the longest time.
US Open came and gone. Poor Federer...he is really getting nowhere.
