Hair

I had long hair for almost my entire life.

My mummy never allowed me to cut my locks short.
Only time I had it short was when I was 14 yrs old.
With puberty and all, wanted to rebel and had my hair snipped short.
It was a nightmare.
My already round face ended up looking rounder.
Thank goodness my hair grew out in less than 8 months.

Since then, I never dare tried having short hair.
Typical conversations went like this with every stylist that I went to:
Me: I am sick of having long hair. Do you think I can cut my hair short?
Stylist: *Recoils in horror* Noooooo!
Me: My face will just look rounder right?
Stylist: *Nods head vigorously* Not so flattering lor. May look older also.
Me: *Sigh* Ok lor...u try to make it lighter lor...too thick liao.

Imagine my sweet surprise when a stylist finally suggested that I cut my hair short -- bob style.
I was estatic and agreed immediately.
It's been one month since I chopped off my long luscious locks.
I have received nothing but compliments all around saying that I look younger and fresher.
Great job!
I think I look quite good actually.
Shall put up a pic of my new hair style if I am feeling really good some other time. *haha*

Numbers

It's 2 mths exact since my last post.
Quite apt since this post is about numbers.

Sequences run in eg. ABC and 123.
You would think rows in seats of cinemas will go by Row A or B or C followed by seats starting from 1, 2.
Oh you get the idea.

Well...I wwas catching a movie over the weekend and got seat numbers 2 and 3.
I entered the cinema when the lights were already dimmed.
Couldn't see much and didn't dare make too much noise. So I quickly shuffled to the END of the row and sat in Seat Number 1.
Guess what? THERE IS NO SEAT NUMBER ONE!!!
I landed with a loud thud on the floor.
I thought my giggling at my own stupidity was louder than my thud. Or that's what I would like to believe.

What's wrong with people and their naming conventions?
Geeesh!
